In addition to protection in case of an explosion, this door meets and exceeds the requirements of N.F.P.A. Standards 80 and 252. for openings in class "A" walls with severe fire risk and has a 3 hour fire label.
SEGHAL PYROTECTOR & EXPLOSION SP-01 doors have been tested by Southwest Research Institute for level 7 bullet resistance as per UL-752.
These high security doors are manufactured using 14 gauge steel, this level of steel is twice as thick as that used in other metal doors, which is why it is classified by the Steel Door Institute as maximum performance, having a great resistance to traffic and impact.
These metal blast and fire doors have a fully welded steel internal structure and SEGHAL-COMPOSITE proprietary insulation, which is non-combustible and does not generate toxic fumes such as honeycomb, polystyrene or polyurethane. In addition, the interior is coated with an anticorrosive primer for greater protection against oxidation.
